Job Description
Norman Love Confections is looking to hire a Full-Time Store Manager at our Miromar Outlets location.
The Store Manager is directly responsible for managing all aspects of a retail salon operation at Norman Love Confections. This role is considered to be a key role within our organization and has a direct impact on the financial success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities for the Store Manager include but are not limited to the following.
Customer Service:
- Responsible for identifying ways to continually enhance the customer experience within the retail operations by ensuring that we are exceeding the customers’ expectations in terms of product selection / availability, product placement and knowledgeable, engaging employees.
- Responsibility directly to manage all customer complaints, issues or feedback obtained through our retail operations.
- Responsible for ensuring that the customer and their experience remains the top priority to you, your leadership team and your employees both when you are present and in your absence.
Sales & Financial:
- Responsible for ensuring that the retail operation is operating in a financially responsible manner. This includes scheduling / payroll, waste management, theft and any other factor that may have a negative impact on the store’s bottom line.
- Responsible for assessing opportunities within the retail operations for financial gain and developing practices and/or processes to maximize sales and minimize waste.
- Responsible for implementing product and sales training that will help to increase confidence among the retail employees and as a result help maximize sales revenue.
- Responsible for developing and communicating daily, weekly and monthly sales goals for the store.
- Responsible for assessing and maximizing business trends.
Business Operations:
- Responsible for holding a Serve Safe Certification.
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the stores.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory management systems to ensure we are offering the freshest products while minimizing waste.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate reporting for our retail operations. This includes but not limited to labor reports, inventory, sales & waste reporting.
- Responsible for being a liaison between the retail store and the Manager of Retail Operations to ensure that the needs of both parties are being recognized and addressed by the other party.
- Responsible to ensure that the store opening / closing procedures are accurately completed to the company’s standards on days and time when the Store Manager is and is not present.
Training & Development:
- Responsible for mentoring the Assistant Store Managers, Key Holders, Supervisors and Retail Associates on all aspects of business operations including but not limited to product management, operating procedures, sales, customer service and staff development.
- Responsible for maintaining a system for auditing the retail stores for standards and service.
- Responsible directly and indirectly for the development of employees at all levels within the retail operation with intent to invest in, train, promote and minimize turnover.
Schedule Expectations:
The Store Manager is considered to be a hands-on management position within the organization and the majority of the Store Manager’s schedule over the course of a given work week is expected to be as coverage on the floor. Store Managers must be scheduled a minimum of 42.5 hours per week, and hours will increase during peak business periods. Furthermore, it is expected that when determining their weekly schedule, the Store Manager gives consideration to peak periods within the stores so that they can be working when they can have the greatest impact on the financial success of their retail operation. This individual will be the primary contact for their retail store and should be accessible 24 hours a day seven days a week to field any concerns or to assist with any coverage needs.
