Position Overview:
We are seeking a Business Relationship Advisor who thrives in a hands-on, market-facing environment. You will play a key role in growing business deposit relationships, expanding cash management adoption, and deepening relationships with business owners, their families, and employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new business deposit relationships and expand existing business operating accounts.
- Identify and support cash management opportunities, including ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, positive pay, online banking, merchant services referrals, and related cash management solutions.
- Maintain a disciplined business calling program focused on local businesses, professionals, contractors, real estate investors, property managers, and centers of influence.
- Coordinate qualified referrals for commercial lending, mortgage lending, HELOC, investment center, personal banking, and employee banking opportunities.
- Conduct relationship reviews that consider deposit, cash management, credit needs, owner and employee personal banking needs, and overall relationship depth.
- Work closely with internal partners to provide customers with a full array of business and personal banking solutions.
- Track calling activity, deposit opportunities, cash management opportunities, referrals, account openings, and follow-up activity.
- Represent and promote the Bank at community events, networking functions, business organizations, and other business development activities that enhance the Bank’s visibility and reputation.
- Help develop and implement business development strategies and initiatives consistent with the bank’s goals.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable banking laws, regulations, and bank policies.

Job Skills Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of banking products, services and policies or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking and presentation abilities.
- Strong sales, persuasion and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to uncover customer needs, identify opportunities and connect those needs with appropriate financial solutions.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional presence and ability to represent the bank positively in the community.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.
- A valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel throughout the Metro Milwaukee area. Mileage reimbursement is included.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required; equivalent banking or business development experience will be considered.
- 3–5 years of banking, financial services, sales, business development, or relationship management experience preferred.
