Riverview Manager in Springfield, Minnesota at St. John Lutheran Home

This part-time position is scheduled for approximately 16 hours per week with flexible daytime hours based on the needs of the cooperative community. Scheduling may vary to accommodate meetings, resident needs, and operational priorities.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• Provide clerical, administrative and public relation services to the owners, members and the Board of Directors. Responsible for public relations to the community.
• Collect and maintain supporting data for on-going accounts payables and receivables, responsible for billing procedures. Assists the Managing Agent with all financial aspects, including budget.
• Function as a staff assistant to the Board of Directors.
• Responsible for effective communication to all tenants of the Cooperative.
• Coordinate necessary services and procedures to accomplish smooth move-ins and move-outs for owners. Represent the cooperative in purchases and closings of the cooperative units.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Agent or Riverview Homestead Cooperative Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

• Business or Accounting background preferred but not required.
• Experience in property management preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check. Valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate effectively and relate well to others.
• Ability to work independently and make independent decisions in emergency situations.
• Detail-oriented. Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
