HVAC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Full-Time | Samsung Semiconductor Campus
Employer: Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI), at Samsung Semiconductor Campus – Taylor, TX
Schedule: Mon - Fri: 7:30 - 4 pm; potential for being on-call (paid)
Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI), is actively hiring skilled and dependable HVAC Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team at the brand-new Samsung Semiconductor Plant in Taylor, TX. In this role, you will perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on commercial HVAC systems to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a hands-on, field-based position ideal for technicians who take pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and building strong customer relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, fan coils)
• Inspect, clean, and service system components (filters, coils, belts, motors, bearings, electrical connections, etc.)
• Identify equipment issues and recommend repairs
• Complete work orders and service documentation using software systems
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned)
• Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and team members
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards

Requirements:REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience preferred
· EPA 608 Universal Certification
· NATE certification (preferred but not required)
· Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS)
· Familiarity with CMMS or field service management software
· Commercial HVAC experience with RTUs, VAV systems, or chilled water systems preferred
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
*Able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and use of hands/tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying environments (hot/cold, crawlspaces, etc.)
• Ability to work in mechanical spaces, outdoors, and varying environmental conditions
• Exposure may include moving equipment, noise, heat/cold, and industrial environments
• Must be able to perform tasks requiring visual focus, coordination, and physical activity throughout shift
