This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional eager to deepen their expertise in global consolidations, SEC reporting, and corporate accounting within a large-scale public company environment. In this role, you will contribute to the monthly and quarterly close process while supporting accurate financial reporting across international operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, auditors, and senior accounting leadership to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls standards. The position offers strong exposure to technical accounting processes, financial analysis, and reporting operations in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. - Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidation entries, including intercompany eliminations and related journal entries.
- Reconcile account balances to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies or variances to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and SEC filing footnotes for Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
- Assist with key accounting analyses, reserve calculations, and ad hoc financial reporting for leadership teams.
- Perform internal control activities in alignment with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on consolidation efficiency, reporting accuracy, and close optimization.
- Conduct technical accounting research and assist with implementation of accounting guidance as needed.
- Support onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing within the accounting team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry environments.
- Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience preferred.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of consolidation accounting, financial reporting, and U.S. GAAP principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large financial datasets.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- High level of integrity, accountability, adaptability, and ownership mindset.
- Interest or experience using AI-powered tools within accounting or reporting workflows is considered a plus.
