This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Medical Inquiry based in Canada.

We are seeking an experienced product leader to drive the development and growth of innovative solutions supporting Medical Affairs teams in the life sciences industry.
This role combines strategic product vision, customer understanding, and hands-on execution to deliver impactful digital experiences.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, consulting, sales, and customers to define product direction and deliver scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and can translate business needs into clear product strategies.
You will own roadmap planning, product discovery, requirements definition, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategy, development, and delivery of product capabilities that support medical inquiry workflows. You will act as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring solutions address real-world needs while meeting business and technology objectives.

  • Define and manage the product roadmap, strategy, and priorities while aligning with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate customer feedback, market insights, and business requirements into actionable product specifications.
  • Design, prototype, configure, and validate product solutions to ensure the right problems are solved in the right order.
  • Create detailed user stories, manage product backlogs, and communicate clear requirements to engineering and QA teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, consulting, sales, and customer-facing teams to deliver successful product releases.
  • Develop product documentation, specifications, and strategic plans to guide implementation and future enhancements.
  • Research evolving medical information technology trends and translate insights into product opportunities.
  • Support product adoption by ensuring solutions align with customer workflows and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to data modeling, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making processes.
  • Champion product excellence through continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-focused thinking.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on product professional with strong experience building enterprise software solutions. You should have a deep understanding of product management principles, customer-driven development, and collaboration with technical teams.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in product management.
  • Experience managing software products involving case management, customer service intake channels, or similar workflows.
  • Strong expertise in product strategy, design, development, and roadmap planning.
  • Proven ability to research customer and market requirements and translate insights into product solutions.
  • Experience writing detailed user stories and managing agile product backlogs.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical architecture requirements, limitations, and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with engineering and QA teams to design and deliver software products.
  • Experience with data modeling concepts, including ERDs and tools such as Lucidchart.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and succeed in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Must be located in a region aligned with Eastern Standard Time working hours.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the applicable hiring region.
  • Nice to have: experience with digital product design tools such as Figma and/or knowledge of Medical Information processes.
