Our Financial Statements product sits right at the centre of that mission. Clear, trusted financial reporting is fundamental to how our customers understand and run their businesses. We pride ourselves on making it easy for them and we’re working to make it even easier, from account mapping and Excel workflows to AI-assisted setup and board-ready reporting. We’re looking for someone with the energy and drive to help us move faster.

What you'll do

You'll join a small, high-impact team and immediately have real influence over the direction of the product. This is a greenfield opportunity in a domain that's complex, customer-visible, and strategically important to Phocas.

• Build and evolve features across the full stack: front end, back end, and data layer.

• Work directly with customers and bring their problems back into the product.

• Help shape the architecture and engineering direction of the Rebates product.

• Lead by example, setting a high bar for the team through the quality of your work and your approach to problems.

• Ship things. Quickly. And then make them better.

What you'll bring

• Senior-level full-stack experience, with strong React on the front end and Java or C# on the back end.

• Comfort with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Cloud experience, ideally AWS.

• Experience using AI to accelerate a team, not just your own output. You've introduced tools, changed workflows, and brought others along.

• A customer-first mindset: you're personable, curious about users, and happy talking directly with customers.

• Experience working in a small team where there's been no room to hide, and you liked it that way.

• A finance background or genuine interest in financial software is a big plus.

• Results-oriented: you're impatient to ship, willing to take some risks, and you measure success by what actually gets out the door and makes a difference.
