Custom Castings is a member of the Nordstern Group of Companies, which also includes Protek Surface Technologies, Forte Tooling Technologies, and Sure Cast Aluminum Foundry. We are an integrated, single-source solutions provider delivering consistent, high-quality aluminum permanent mold castings to our customers.
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Worker to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role includes participation in our Casting Apprenticeship Program, designed for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the foundry industry.
Through hands-on training and mentorship, you will:
- Learn the fundamentals of aluminum permanent mold casting.
- Progress from finishing operations into casting responsibilities.
- Receive structured, on-the-job training supported by experienced Cell Leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate fully in training programs provided.
- Manufacture castings in a team-oriented production environment.
- Perform cutting, sanding and grinding of castings.
- Progress into casting duties as training milestones are achieved.
- Work collaboratively with other Finishers, Casters and Cell Leaders to meet delivery commitments.
- Apply 5S and Continuous Improvement practices.
What You Bring:
- Ability to follow procedures and willingness to learn new skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate in English (verbal & written).
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility with working overtime.
- Previous exposure to a lean manufacturing environment is an asset.
