Position Summary:
The University of New Mexico's Project ECHO has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join our Partner Support Team! This individual will serve as the operational backbone of this team by coordinating projects, aligning cross-functional efforts, and producing reporting that supports strategic oversight as the organization continues to grow.

As a successful Program Manager, you will play an active role in:

• Providing consultation to partners on implementation approaches aligned with the ECHO model.
• Delivering structured iECHO onboarding and advanced training while guiding partners through program setup, including planning timelines and meeting training requirements.
• Providing ongoing consultation and problem-solving support related to iECHO platform use and troubleshooting platform issues.
• Advising partners on best practices for program configuration, session management, and reporting.
• Identifying opportunities to improve partner onboarding and implementation procedures, including refining checklists and clarifying training requirements.
• Serving as a primary point of contact for organizations launching ECHO programs and facilitating connections between partners and the broader MetaECHO community.
• Representing the organization in virtual partner meetings, trainings, and collaborative initiatives at local, national, and international levels.
• Engaging with partner leadership and senior stakeholders to support implementation.
• Assisting with gathering quality data for the ECHO movement.
• Training partners on ECHO tools used to capture required data.
• Compiling status reports on trainings and hub/program launches and maintaining team documentation and operational reports.
• Providing consultation to internal teams on partner needs and implementation considerations.
• Leading special projects and strategic initiatives, such as Partner Launch Trainings (PLTs) and cross-team initiatives.
• Supporting the facilitation of PLTs by preparing training content, coordinating materials, and assisting with session delivery.
• Maintaining training materials, SOPs, job aids, and presentations.
• Supporting the Director in developing MetaECHO communication strategies, including hub and partner highlights, newsletters, messaging, and MetaECHO Conference events.
• Assisting partners in defining program goals and incorporating them into planning processes.

Project ECHO is committed to democratizing implementation of best practices in healthcare, education and other areas where first mile professionals need support. We do this by training universities, nonprofits, and dedicated individuals on facilitation skills and how to set up robust virtual communities of practice to be able to scale their own expertise and missions to the benefit of their local communities. Over the past 20 years, Project ECHO and our partners have trained more than 1,000 partners who make up our global network of Universities, ministries of health, and NGOs around the world. Examples of programs we and others run include infectious disease control (Hepatitis C, HIV), mental health and addiction treatment, literacy, math, climate mitigation and many more.

Project ECHO is funded in part by philanthropic grants and gifts from organizations such as the GE Foundation, the Helmsley Charitable Trust, the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, the Merck Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the US Government. Additionally, for programming benefitting New Mexico we receive support from the NM Legislature, the New Mexico Human Services Department and the New Mexico Department of Health.
