This role offers an opportunity to design and shape enterprise-scale SAP platform architectures for complex global transformation programs. You will work as a hands-on architect across SAP infrastructure, security, integration, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled solutions, helping organizations modernize their technology landscapes. The position combines deep technical expertise with strategic advisory responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with customers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders. You will contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformations, cloud adoption initiatives, and innovative AI-driven platform capabilities. This is a high-impact role for an experienced SAP professional who enjoys solving complex architecture challenges and building scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.

The SAP Platform Solution Architect will be responsible for defining enterprise SAP platform strategies, designing secure architectures, and supporting large-scale transformation initiatives. The role requires strong technical ownership, customer engagement, and the ability to translate business needs into robust SAP solutions.

• Design target SAP architectures across on-premise, cloud, RISE, and GROW environments, including S/4HANA landscapes, SAP BTP subaccounts, destinations, and connectivity models.
• Develop secure network topologies covering SAP Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, reverse proxies, firewall zones, DMZ architecture, load balancing, SNC, TLS, and port configurations.
• Define identity and access management strategies, including IAS, IPS, XSUAA, enterprise identity federation, and role governance.
• Provide expertise in SAP security architecture, authorization concepts, vulnerability considerations, and security effort estimation.
• Design SAP Business AI platform solutions involving AI Core, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, Joule, Joule Studio, and AI Agent capabilities.
• Architect SAP-to-SAP and SAP-to-third-party integrations using appropriate patterns, protocols, and authentication methods such as OAuth2, SAML, mTLS, and principal propagation.
• Support SAP migration initiatives, including NEO to Cloud Foundry transitions, system conversions, SUM/DMO activities, and landscape modernization.
• Participate in presales activities by qualifying opportunities, creating solution designs, estimating effort, preparing RFI/RFP responses, and delivering technical demonstrations.
• Build reusable architecture assets, reference designs, accelerators, and proof-of-value solutions for future engagements.
• Collaborate with global teams and customers to ensure successful delivery of SAP transformation programs.

The ideal candidate is an experienced SAP architect with strong expertise in SAP BASIS, security, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration. They should combine hands-on technical skills with consulting experience and the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders.

• 8+ years of experience in SAP BASIS and SAP Security with hands-on architecture responsibilities.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations, including RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, brownfield and greenfield conversion projects.
• Proven expertise in SAP network architecture, including Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, reverse proxy, DMZ/firewall design, SNC, and TLS configurations.
• Strong SAP BTP knowledge, including subaccounts, destinations, Cloud Foundry, XSUAA, and platform services.
• Experience with SAP identity solutions such as IAS, IPS, SAML/OIDC federation, and access governance.
• Strong understanding of core BASIS activities including SUM, STMS, system copies, refreshes, and HANA administration.
• Experience designing SAP authorization concepts, roles, profiles, and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Knowledge of integration architecture across SAP and third-party systems, including APIs, events, files, Integration Suite, and Edge Integration Cell.
• Familiarity with SAP Business AI technologies such as AI Core, Generative AI Hub, Joule, and AI Agent Hub.
• Experience supporting presales activities, technical proposals, solution sizing, and customer demonstrations.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to work across global time zones.
• Nice-to-have experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance, Enterprise Threat Detection, vulnerability management, and hyperscaler SAP environments.
• Exposure to RAG concepts, prompt engineering patterns, Document Information Extraction, or SAP AI innovations is a plus.
• SAP certifications in BTP, Security, or HANA are advantageous.
