This leadership role is responsible for driving commercial performance and executing marketing and sales strategies within an assigned territory.

Accountabilities:

The role focuses on leading commercial execution, developing field teams, managing territory performance, and strengthening relationships with healthcare stakeholders. The professional will ensure strategies are effectively implemented while identifying opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of field representatives, ensuring alignment with commercial strategies and objectives.
  • Conduct field coaching focused on sales capabilities, scientific knowledge, and excellence in customer interactions.
  • Organize district meetings, tactical training sessions, and individual feedback discussions.
  • Monitor performance indicators and implement action plans to improve results.
  • Develop and execute territory action plans aligned with broader business strategies.
  • Analyze market data, competitive intelligence, and demand indicators to support strategic decisions.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources, customer segmentation, and territory planning.
  • Manage district budgets with accountability and strategic vision.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare leaders, scientific organizations, institutions, and key stakeholders.
  • Support educational initiatives and customer engagement activities while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and expansion opportunities.
  • Provide field insights and recommendations to commercial, marketing, and medical teams.
  • Contribute to demand forecasting, regional analysis, and management reporting.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in commercial leadership, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. The role requires strong people management skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate market insights into business actions.

  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within medical demand generation or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Experience leading and developing commercial teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Availability for travel (approximately 50%).
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and analyze market information.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage different stakeholders.
  • Experience managing conflicts and building collaborative relationships.
  • Strategic thinking, business vision, adaptability, and resilience.
