Warehouse Facility Technician

Location: North Brunswick, NJ (On-Site)

Salary: $48,000 - $58,000

Focus Camera is a family-owned ecommerce and retail company, over 50 years in business. We are hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician for two adjacent buildings at our North Brunswick, NJ campus: our fulfillment warehouse and a neighboring company-owned building with rental tenants and truck parking.

The Role

You report to the Facility Manager and work off a daily work-order list. You are not expected to be a licensed specialist in every trade. Your job is to troubleshoot issues, handle the smaller repairs in-house, and escalate the bigger jobs to outside vendors. This role is for a solid all-around handyman who works independently and takes pride in their work.

You Will

• Troubleshoot and handle smaller in-house repairs: dock doors, dock plates and levelers, conveyor belts, racking, doors, locks, lighting, plumbing fixtures, drywall, painting, fencing, and gates
• Escalate bigger or specialized repairs so an outside vendor can be brought in
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks on schedule
• Complete tenant-unit repairs as dispatched
• Maintain the truck lot and building exteriors
• Escort vendors on-site and verify their work before they leave
• Keep the tools and parts inventory stocked and organized

You Are

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance, handyman, or building trades experience
• Handyman-level skill across multiple trades; able to work independently off a list and know when a job needs a vendor
• Able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and handle physically demanding work
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment; dock doors, conveyors, or forklift experience a strong plus
