Position: Art Maintenance Technician | Full-Time

Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Sunday–Thursday (Friday & Saturday Off)

Location: Salt Lake City International Airport, Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Art Maintenance Technician to join our team at Salt Lake City International Airport. This full-time overnight position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the airport's suspended art installations and other high-elevation artwork throughout the terminal. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at heights, takes pride in precision cleaning, and enjoys working as part of a team to preserve unique public art displays.

• Clean and maintain suspended artwork and high-elevation art installations throughout the airport.
• Dust, wipe, and detail delicate art pieces using microfiber cloths and other approved cleaning tools.
• Operate scissor lifts, snorkel lifts, and other aerial equipment safely while performing maintenance at heights of up to 60 feet.
• Follow established cleaning procedures to protect artwork and prevent damage.
• Inspect artwork for dust, debris, or maintenance concerns and report any issues to management.
• Work closely with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while handling sensitive and valuable art installations.
• Follow all airport safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience operating scissor lifts, snorkel lifts, or similar aerial equipment preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 60 feet.
• No fear of heights.
• Ability to work overnight shifts on a consistent schedule.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check required for airport access.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to perform careful, high-quality cleaning.
• Patient and attentive when working around delicate artwork.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to working 40 hours per week.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Commitment to following all safety procedures while working at elevated heights.
