PFS Analyst- Patient Financial Services in Cookeville, Tennessee at Cookeville Regional Medical Center

The PFS Analyst reports to the PFS Manager. This position is responsible for assisting the Director and Managers/Supervisors in analytical tasks such as calculating Estimates for Patients, trending AR reports. The position will be responsible for Contract AR,Various AR Queues, Provider Enrollment Packets, Uncompensated Care Logs and State Medicaid Crossover Logs. This position will cross-train with various areas of the department in order to serve as back-up. Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma / GED required. 2 years Business School Preferred. Certified Patient Account Representative preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one year patient financial services experience preferred. Knowledge of spreadsheets and Word documents preferred. AR experience preferred. Knowledge of general office procedures, proficient computer skills in Windows 95 or greater. Must have sound numerical proficiency ‘ten key’.
