Technical Account Manager - Retail, Travel, Logistics

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Account Manager - Retail, Travel, Logistics based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to become a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers navigating the evolution from traditional automation to intelligent, AI-powered solutions.
You will support organizations across retail, travel, logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing sectors in scaling automation programs and achieving measurable business outcomes.
The position combines technical expertise, customer partnership, solution design, and strategic guidance.
You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to solve complex challenges and accelerate adoption of innovative automation technologies.
The role provides exposure to emerging AI capabilities, enterprise platforms, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
You will contribute to customer success by improving platform adoption, operational maturity, and long-term value creation.

Accountabilities:

As a Technical Account Manager, you will support customers throughout their automation and AI transformation journey by providing technical guidance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring successful platform adoption. You will work closely with customer teams and internal stakeholders to design scalable solutions, resolve challenges, and promote best practices across complex environments.

  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor across developers, architects, operational teams, and business leaders.
  • Guide customers through the transition from traditional automation approaches to intelligent and agentic AI-powered workflows.
  • Support platform adoption strategies by analyzing usage trends, identifying opportunities, and partnering with customer success and sales teams.
  • Provide technical guidance on platform infrastructure, installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and AI-enabled automation components.
  • Advise customers on applying AI agents, large language models, and intelligent automation capabilities to business processes such as supply chain operations, inventory optimization, logistics planning, and workflow automation.
  • Conduct technical health checks, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure quality, reliability, governance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with support and technical teams to manage escalations and drive issues through successful resolution.
  • Help customers design solutions integrating automation, AI, orchestration, and enterprise systems.
  • Stay current with evolving AI and automation capabilities to provide informed recommendations and support innovation.
  • Create clear technical documentation, guidance materials, and enablement resources for customer teams.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a technically skilled customer-facing professional with experience supporting enterprise technology adoption, strong communication abilities, and an interest in AI-driven transformation. You should be comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business value, and helping organizations solve complex challenges.

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Technical Account Management, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, or Technical Support.
  • Professional experience with programming languages such as .NET, C#, C++, VB, Java, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on exposure to modern AI technologies, including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, vector databases, or generative AI frameworks.
  • Understanding of AI infrastructure considerations, including security, governance, model hosting, latency, and cost management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, networking, IT infrastructure, and security concepts is a plus.
  • Experience supporting customers in retail, travel, hospitality, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve technical challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex automation and AI concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, maintain customer relationships, and remain effective in fast-changing environments.
  • English fluency is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant cloud or technology certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with automation and AI platforms, agent builders, orchestration tools, document processing solutions, or integration services is beneficial.
