Assistant Manager, Billing Operations in at South China Morning Post

Purpose of the position:

SCMP is seeking a professional to support the billing reconciliation function within the Revenue Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex billing operations, accounting, finance, and process re-engineering.

In this role, you will:

• Billing Operations Management: Drive the timely and accurate execution of all customer and vendor billing workflows, ensuring optimal efficiency and full regulatory compliance.
• Process Improvement: Identify system enhancements and workflow optimizations, and actively participate in system upgrades and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary contact for billing operations, working closely with Sales teams and external partners to resolve inquiries.
• Financial Reconciliation: Perform regular billing reconciliation and generate reports to ensure precise capture and recording of all financial transactions.
• Ad-hoc Support: Assist with special projects and departmental assignments as needed.
  

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

• Degree or higher in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in accounting or operations (media industry experience is preferred).
• Expert knowledge of Google Workspace and hands-on experience with Salesforce.
• Decisive, accountable, self-starter, and a highly collaborative team player.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.

Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
