This role works closely with Federal stakeholders to capture requirements, translate business needs into Salesforce functionality, and ensure solutions align with both mission objectives and security/compliance standards.
As part of Thunder’s Federal Delivery practice, the BA serves as a bridge between technical teams and Federal clients—facilitating workshops, documenting processes, and supporting secure solution implementation. Core Pillars:
  • Requirements & Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with cleared Federal stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine requirements.
  • Solution Alignment – Translate requirements into Salesforce functionality and collaborate with developers, architects, and PMs.
  • Agile Delivery – Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT in a cleared, compliance-driven environment.
  • Compliance & Documentation – Ensure delivery artifacts meet Federal compliance and security standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead requirements-gathering workshops with Federal stakeholders.
  • Document business processes, requirements, and acceptance criteria in alignment with program objectives.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers and architects to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
  • Support Federal compliance documentation, testing, and ATO-related deliverables.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and training sessions for end users.
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure requirements are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with Federal standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within Thunder’s Federal Delivery practice.

Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Salesforce delivery projects.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery in Federal environments (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for Federal client-facing engagements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with delivery, development, and compliance teams.
  • US Citizenship and willingness to obtain clearance(s)
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Travel required, as necessary
