Services Coordinator in Pottsville, Pennsylvania at Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries

General Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing a variety of duties supporting all programs of Community Services.
• Schedules and assigns staff and volunteers for the delivery of Meals on Wheels routes and client home visits.
• Accounts for Meals on Wheels client "no answers" and responds to emergency situations.
• Prepares client records and maintains file system in a timely manner.
• Receives and responds to telephone inquiries.

Education/Training: An Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field normally required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in related positions normally required.

ADA: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
