Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manufacturing & Engineering Recruiter based in United States.
This opportunity is designed for an experienced recruiter who knows how to identify and engage high-quality manufacturing and engineering talent. You will work across a range of in-demand technical roles, from CNC machining and quality inspection to mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering. The role gives you the freedom to leverage your existing candidate network and recruiting expertise while working fully remotely. You will manage sourcing, screening, candidate communication, and submissions with a strong focus on quality and fit. With active roles available and an uncapped commission structure, your earning potential is directly connected to your placement results. This is an ideal environment for an independent, results-oriented recruiter who values flexibility and autonomy.
- Source, identify, screen, and submit qualified candidates for active manufacturing, engineering, and skilled-trades opportunities.
- Leverage existing candidate networks, talent pipelines, and professional relationships to generate strong placements efficiently.
- Recruit for roles including CNC machinists, CNC programmers, CMM programmers and inspectors, quality professionals, maintenance and manufacturing technicians, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, hardware engineers, and manufacturing engineers.
- Evaluate candidates against client requirements, compensation expectations, technical qualifications, and overall role fit before submission.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and hiring process, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Collaborate with internal leadership on role priorities, candidate feedback, hiring requirements, and placement opportunities.
- Focus on targeted, high-quality submissions rather than high-volume candidate activity.
- Manage recruiting activities independently while maintaining responsiveness and professionalism in a fully remote environment.
- 5+ years of professional recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, skilled trades, or related technical talent markets.
- Proven track record of successful candidate placements and the ability to consistently identify qualified talent.
- Strong existing candidate network or talent pipeline within manufacturing, engineering, or skilled-trades disciplines.
- Experience supporting direct-hire and/or contract placements.
- Strong understanding of technical job requirements and the ability to assess candidate qualifications against client needs.
- Excellent candidate management, communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently without close supervision or traditional agency micromanagement.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active recruiting opportunities simultaneously.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on quality placements and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and respond promptly to candidate and team needs.
- 100% commission-based compensation under a 1099 independent contractor arrangement.
- Unlimited earning potential with no fixed salary ceiling.
- Earn a percentage of placement fees generated through successful direct-hire and contract placements.
- Access to active roles that are ready to be filled, providing immediate recruiting opportunities.
- No responsibility for client relationship management, contracts, billing, or collections, allowing you to focus primarily on recruiting and placements.
- Fast feedback cycles, typically within approximately 24 hours.
- Flexible, fully remote work structure with significant independence and control over your recruiting approach.
- Opportunity to leverage your existing candidate network and professional relationships to grow your income.
- Performance-driven environment without traditional quotas or micromanagement.
- U.S.-based work opportunity with flexibility suited to experienced independent recruiters.
