Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Business Analysis & Insights based in United States.
This is a high-impact strategic analytics role partnering closely with the CFO and executive leadership team.
You’ll turn complex data and ambiguous business questions into clear insights, compelling narratives, and actionable recommendations.
The role spans strategy, business intelligence, analytics infrastructure, and executive decision support.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to influence business outcomes.
AI-enabled analytics will be central to improving productivity, automating repetitive work, and accelerating the delivery of insights.
The position offers significant ownership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where analytical depth must be balanced with speed and practical judgment.
This is a fully remote opportunity with limited travel for in-person collaboration and company-wide events.
- Lead high-impact strategic analyses that identify root causes, quantify opportunities, evaluate business performance, and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
- Translate complex analytical findings into concise, compelling, executive-ready narratives for audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior executives.
- Partner with business leaders to shape and operationalize strategic priorities, connecting analytical insights to growth, efficiency, profitability, and broader business outcomes.
- Incorporate modern AI tools into analytical workflows to accelerate research and analysis, automate repetitive tasks, improve productivity, and increase the speed and quality of decision support.
- Design scalable analytical frameworks, reusable datasets, automated pipelines, and self-service reporting capabilities that strengthen long-term decision-making.
- Build trusted relationships across Finance, Product, Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering, influencing outcomes and driving initiatives forward without direct authority.
- Independently manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritize competing demands, navigate ambiguity, and balance immediate business needs with longer-term strategic opportunities.
- Monitor evolving AI and analytics capabilities and champion thoughtful adoption of tools and methodologies that improve team effectiveness.
- Help translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, clear conclusions, and practical executive recommendations.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, business intelligence, business insights, or a related discipline, ideally in a D2C, technology, high-growth environment, or consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Expert-level SQL skills, with experience using Python preferred or R, as well as strong proficiency with BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or comparable solutions to accelerate analytical workflows and development; experience with Git, version-controlled analytics, and modern analytics engineering practices is preferred.
- Strong experience working with large, complex datasets and familiarity with big-data technologies or platforms.
- Excellent business acumen, with the ability to connect data to business outcomes, exercise sound judgment with imperfect information, and recommend clear actions rather than simply present analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex analyses clearly to senior executives while maintaining analytical rigor.
- Strong executive presence, intellectual curiosity, ownership, and a bias toward action in fast-changing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity, independently identify problems, prioritize initiatives, and develop practical solutions.
- High emotional intelligence and strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted partnerships without formal authority.
- Fully remote work model, with employees welcome across US time zones while operating primarily on Pacific Time.
- Base salary range of $150,000–$200,000, plus eligibility for a performance bonus.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions.
- Holistic employee wellness and perks program, including access to therapy.
- Company-sponsored in-person collaboration opportunities, including travel to the San Jose, CA office up to three times per year and one company-wide offsite.
- Travel expenses covered for required in-person company events, with reasonable accommodations available when needed.
- Hardware and software support designed to help employees work productively.
- Opportunities to contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on expanding access to mental health services.
- Supportive, collaborative community with an emphasis on sustainable work-life balance and professional growth.
