Director of Lifestyle & Club Development

SUMMARY:

The Director of Lifestyle & Club Development is a founding leadership role responsible for helping create and deliver an exceptional luxury member experience from the earliest stages of the Rod & Gun Club development through opening and ongoing operations. Working closely with executive leadership, prospective members, consultants, architects, and development teams, this individual will help shape the vision, service standards, and operational philosophy of one of Southwest Florida’s premier private clubs. This role blends luxury hospitality, strategic planning, membership engagement, concierge services, event planning, project coordination, and strategic business development.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager and concierge for prospective and current members, providing exceptional white-glove service throughout the sales, onboarding, and membership journey.
  • Coordinate personalized property tours and guide prospective members through membership opportunities, club amenities, residences, homesite and home style selections, answering questions related to construction, membership structure, services, and the overall lifestyle experience.
  • Design and execute strategic marketing and prospect engagement initiatives in partnership with executive leadership, including brand positioning, marketing collateral, digital presence, public relations touchpoints, and membership communications.
  • Develop and deliver curated events, social programming, VIP experiences, and exclusive member engagements that reflect the Club's luxury brand and foster long term member relationships.
  • Serve as a key project leader by coordinating cross-functional initiatives among sales, construction, design, development, consultants, and future operations teams as the Club progresses from pre-development through opening.
  • Participate in strategic planning and help establish the Club's operational philosophy, membership policies, concierge standards, service expectations, and standard operating procedures that will scale with future organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with the financial analysis team and executive leadership on membership pricing strategies, membership packages, and other initiatives designed to enhance member value and support business objectives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and priorities while ensuring a seamless experience for prospective and future members.
  • Support branding, business development, and executive initiatives that contribute to the successful launch and long-term growth of the Club.
  • Perform additional leadership responsibilities as needed in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, pre-opening environment where flexibility, initiative, and collaboration are essential.
  • Participates and supports organizations efforts to achieve goals as established by management.
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. Follows all safety rules and makes use of appropriate safety equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of luxury hospitality, private club, resort, luxury residential development, or related experience.
  • Experience serving high-net-worth clientele.
  • Strong project management, event planning, and relationship management skills.
  • Executive presence with exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND: Experience with luxury brands such as Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Discovery Land Company, Auberge Resorts, Montage, exclusive private clubs, luxury residential communities, or similar organizations.
