Pines Village Continuing Care Retirement Community is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Evening Nursing Supervisor, Monday-Friday. This Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing nursing services during the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our senior resident population. Responsibilities include staff supervision, resident assessments, clinical oversight, coordination of care, and serving as the nursing leader and resource for the evening shift.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily nursing operations for a 66-bed skilled nursing unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Monitor resident care plans and clinical outcomes.
- Conduct resident assessments and participate in care planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to provide the best possible ressident experieince.
- Assist with Med Pass as needed
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident transitions.
- Foster a positive, resident-centered environment.
- Current and Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
- Long-term care/skilled nursing experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred in a Long Term Care environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
