Job Description

Solutions Integration Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Integration Engineer based in United States.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing engineering role focused on designing and delivering enterprise B2B integrations for a fast-growing IoT platform.
You will lead complex integration projects from requirements gathering and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
The role combines hands-on software engineering with technical consulting, project leadership, and close customer collaboration.
You will work across APIs, webhooks, cloud services, databases, data streaming, and emerging AI technologies to solve sophisticated business challenges.
As a cross-functional partner, you will collaborate with product, sales, support, developer ecosystem, and engineering teams to improve both customer outcomes and integration capabilities.
You will have significant autonomy to influence technical approaches, establish best practices, and improve professional services methodologies.
This is an opportunity to grow your technical and customer-facing leadership in a dynamic environment where your work directly impacts critical physical operations.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead enterprise system integration projects with customer development teams, partners, and third-party systems integrators, delivering scalable solutions using APIs, webhooks, connectors, and other integration technologies.
  • Gather and translate business and data integration requirements into clear technical architectures, specifications, project scopes, and implementation plans.
  • Design robust integration architectures supporting real-time data streaming, event subscriptions, batch processing, and other complex enterprise use cases, balancing scalability, reliability, maintainability, and delivery speed.
  • Build, test, validate, and review production-quality code while conducting thorough code reviews and providing actionable technical feedback.
  • Manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments, including communication with senior and executive-level customer stakeholders.
  • Advise customers and implementation teams on integration best practices, technical approaches, and effective use of platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, coordinate with technical support and engineering teams, and advocate for product or platform improvements based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, business operations, sales, systems engineering, and developer ecosystem teams to improve integration experiences and capabilities.
  • Document technical standards and reusable integration practices while contributing to the evolution of professional services methodologies, tools, and delivery processes.
  • Share knowledge across technical and developer communities and champion a customer-focused, collaborative, growth-oriented approach as the organization scales.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions using established software and architecture methodologies, including at least 3 years of customer-facing experience with enterprise-scale integrations or API development.
  • Strong ability to gather integration requirements and translate them into effective technical and data designs, with a track record of configuring and deploying complex technical solutions.
  • Proficiency writing, reading, and understanding Python plus at least one additional programming language such as JavaScript or Apps Script.
  • Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as RESTful APIs, webhooks, and modern databases.
  • Practical experience using LLM-based tools for code generation, prompt engineering, automation, and developer productivity, along with exposure to agentic workflows and the design, orchestration, or deployment of multi-agent enterprise solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple customer engagements simultaneously and successfully navigating complex projects involving diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaboration and familiarity with modern Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with B2B system integration projects, fleet or logistics environments, vehicle technologies, hardware devices, sensors, or vehicle diagnostic systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and data visualization concepts is a plus, as is a strong bias toward action and a hands-on approach to delivering measurable business results.
Benefits:
  • Annual base salary range of $73,780–$111,600 USD, with actual compensation based on location, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
  • Performance-based bonus or variable compensation and equity eligibility for applicable roles.
  • Flexible, employee-led remote working model for eligible positions; this role is remote within the U.S., excluding the San Francisco Bay, New York City, and Washington, D.C. metro areas.
  • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Parental leave and additional programs designed to support employees and families.
  • Professional development stipend to support ongoing learning and career growth.
  • Opportunity to work on technologies shaping the future of IoT, enterprise integrations, and AI-enabled operations.
  • Inclusive, collaborative environment with opportunities to expand responsibilities and build a long-term career in a high-growth organization.
