Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for supporting go-to-market strategy and execution, including surgeon and sales rep communication, education, direct to patient and promotional strategies. This person will be responsible for providing continuous support to the sales force and representing the marketing organization to cross functional business partners. The role will be fast paced; the expectation will be performance driven and results oriented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand key competitors and their relative strengths/weaknesses and maintain networks of people and resources for obtaining competitive information.
- Explain different product features to different customers as appropriate to their needs.
- Maintain customer engagement and deeply understand customer needs
- Understand competitive dynamics in the market
- Understand what customers value and how they perceive different attributes of the product or portfolio.
- Articulate why the product or portfolio adds value or solves problems for the customer.
- Create marketing strategies to understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product or portfolio
- Propose objectives for generating clinical evidence and evaluating studies
- Synthesize market trends and make recommendations on areas of strategic focus
- Develop new strategies, sales tools, and communication plans for the product or portfolio
- Apply clinical knowledge in combination with technical knowledge to educate and articulate value
- Work closely with sales training/sales enablement to set the sales training strategy for the product or portfolio
- Responsible for the obsolescence plan
- Provide analytical support to set price
- Articulate desired communications outcomes that are consistent with the marketing strategy.
- Establish short-range and long-range improvement goals for the product management team, and under guidance develop action plans to achieve those goals
- Analyze customer satisfaction to assess trends in customer engagement and incorporate trends into strategic planning.
- Provide marketing intelligence group with key objectives and inputs to drive customer insights.

- Strong understanding of competitors, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Ability to tailor product messaging and articulate clear value propositions.
- Skilled in developing marketing strategies, sales tools, and communication plans.
- Experience applying clinical and technical knowledge to support product education.
- Analytical ability to support pricing, market trends, and strategic planning.
- Collaborative mindset; works closely with cross-functional teams and sales enablement.
- Proven ability to translate customer insights into actionable strategies.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically, 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel required up to 50% of the time. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
KNOWLEDGE:
Advanced intermediate level professional; knowledge within own discipline and developing basic knowledge of organization, processes and customers. Good judgment, sound analytical ability, evaluation, originality and ingenuity required to perform tasks. Frequently apply the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of routine and non-routine issues.
COMPLEXITY:
Work on problems of moderate scope and impact where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures to solve a range of straightforward problems; may recommend solutions to business challenges. Demonstrate good judgment within defined procedures and practices for obtaining solutions. Build productive internal/external working relationships.
SUPERVISION:
Receive a moderate level of instruction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects or assignments. Assignments can be broad in nature.
