  • Develop and promote effective engineering and organizational practices across the wider organization.
  • Plan, track, and manage progress against agreed goals, customer engagements, and strategic projects.
  • Participate actively in the leadership team and collaborate with other leaders to align priorities, execution, and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Exceptional academic performance at both high school and university level.
  • Extensive experience with embedded Linux, including Yocto or comparable technologies.
  • Strong Linux expertise, with experience in Debian or Ubuntu considered particularly valuable.
  • Fluency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
  • Experience managing or leading a small technical engineering team, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineers.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing technical roles and complex technology engagements.
  • Strong understanding of how technology can deliver measurable business benefits.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across distributed, multicultural teams and multiple time zones.
  • Results-oriented mindset, strong personal accountability, and a consistent ability to meet commitments.
  • Curiosity, flexibility, humility, and a willingness to learn quickly in a rapidly evolving technical environment.
  • Experience with RTOS technologies is an advantage.
  • Additional programming languages or professional fluency in other human languages are desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a remote-first, diverse, and globally distributed organization is considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for in-person team events approximately 2–4 times per year, typically for events lasting 1–2 weeks, as well as occasional customer or external engagements.

Benefits:

  • Globally distributed work environment with opportunities to collaborate across international teams.
  • Twice-yearly in-person team sprints and opportunities to meet colleagues in different locations.
  • Compensation shaped by geographical location, experience, and performance.
  • Annual compensation reviews, with additional reviews where appropriate to recognize strong performance.
