Truck Body Technician– Job Summary

Position requires Technician with strong knowledge in auto-body and various mechanical / electrical trouble shooting skills.

Diesel Technician – Primary Responsibilities

• Make repairs to cargo boxes, trailers, frames, wheel bases.
• Various body work repairs and painting.
• Facilitate warranty process when applicable.
• Make recommendations to improve processes to lead to improved safety, customer service, and profits.
• Stay abreast of best practices and trends in the industry.
• May be required to assist in training less experienced technicians.
• Keep shop clean and safe by assuring tools and equipment are put back in proper storage areas. Assure trash is removed in timely manner.
• Be responsible for keeping track of time records relating to repairs, shop time, and payroll hours for oneself.
• Wear proper PPE, and inform management if any repairs or replacement is needed of such equipment.

Diesel Technician – Position Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in body work.
• A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma is preferred
• Strong measuring and math skills.
• Ability to use PC for documenting repairs and time management.
• Ability to use ladders and also crawl, kneel, strech when working on vehicles.
• Must have a valid driver’s license: CDL Preferred
• Must be able to lift 70lbs.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT.
