This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Emerging Account Management based in Canada.
As a Manager, Emerging Account Management, you’ll lead and develop a team of Account Managers responsible for growing and retaining customer relationships across emerging markets. You’ll play a central role in helping your team achieve ambitious revenue and performance goals through coaching, mentorship, process improvement, and strategic guidance. The position combines people leadership with operational ownership, requiring you to remove obstacles, strengthen workflows, and ensure the team can execute efficiently. You’ll use pipeline data, forecasting, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and make informed decisions. You’ll also help expand outbound sales initiatives and establish practices that support sustainable revenue growth. Working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment, you’ll collaborate closely with your team and customers while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Emerging Account Management team, ensuring processes, priorities, and workflows support efficient execution and achievement of team goals.
- Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress against targets, and proactively identify and remove obstacles that could impact team success.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for direct reports, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, career development, performance management, and offboarding.
- Coach and mentor Account Managers through regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, customer calls, and ongoing performance feedback.
- Identify individual and team skill gaps and implement targeted training and development initiatives to strengthen capabilities.
- Build a culture that motivates team members, recognizes achievements, and encourages continuous improvement and accountability.
- Own sales forecasting processes and implement measures to improve pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and revenue predictability.
- Develop and improve strategic processes, including outbound sales initiatives, to help the team consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze team performance metrics and translate insights into actionable decisions around productivity, efficiency, and process improvement.
- Provide regular weekly reporting on team performance, key wins, challenges, pipeline developments, and strategic initiatives.
- Support a customer portfolio focused primarily on English-speaking markets, including the United States and English-speaking Canada.
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading Account Management teams.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing high-performing sales professionals.
- Proven success in sales leadership within a SaaS, B2B, or similarly metrics-driven organization.
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities, with a genuine commitment to helping team members grow and succeed.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics, turn data into business decisions, and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong understanding of sales pipelines, forecasting, revenue performance, and outbound sales processes.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Experience working successfully in a fast-growth environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused leadership style with the ability to celebrate team wins while maintaining high performance standards.
- Experience in the CMMS industry or at a B2B SaaS startup is considered an asset.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required due to daily communication with customers primarily located in the United States and English-speaking Canada.
