  • JOB SUMMARY
    • The Patient Access Specialist I supports our mission of providing compassionate care by serving as the first point of contact for patients and families. This role ensures timely, accurate, and respectful access to services through efficient registration, and communication. By delivering kind, professional assistance and collaborating with clinical teams, the Patient Access Specialist I helps create a positive patient experience and strengthens our organization’s role as the community’s trusted healthcare leader.

  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education:
      • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Certifications/Licenses:
      • N/A

    • Job Knowledge and Skills:
        • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
        • Ability to manage a high volume of patient interactions in person and by phone in a fast-paced environment.
        • Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
        • Basic understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred.
        • Proficiency in using computers, and electronic health record applications.
