Lifelong Access is seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us recruit exceptional employees who are passionate about making a difference. As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle while helping create an outstanding candidate experience and supporting the continued growth of our organization.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and community outreach.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate the interview process.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate pre-employment background checks.
- Maintain candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring processes.
- Represent Lifelong Access at job fairs, career events, and community recruiting activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates for current and future employment opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies throughout the hiring process.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Two to five years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting in healthcare, human services, nonprofit organizations, or high-volume environments is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Valid Illinois driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Current proof of automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel locally to recruiting events and Lifelong Access locations as needed.
