Accounts Payable Specialist in Palmetto, Florida at Inline Filling Systems Inc

Job description:

• Process vendor invoices and debit memos by accurately collecting, coding, and analyzing data for payment approval.
• Maintain and update vendor records, including banking details, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform account reconciliations, postings, and balancing to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage cross functional collaboration relating to Accounts Payable. Resolve issues that affect multiple departments
• Identify and document root causes of payment delays & payment errors, implement corrective actions, monitor and report results
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors
• Assists with internal & external audits as the primary AP point of contact
• Assist with the filling of State Sales Taxes
• Manage ACH/check runs on a weekly basis
• Assist with corporate credit card reconstructions and bank reconciliations
• Month- end close
• Open to other project work as needed
