Job Description

More than 37,000 customers have given us five stars for repairing circuit boards instead of selling them an overpriced replacement with the same weaknesses as the original. You'll be the voice of that reputation on social media, in our email campaigns, and on our blog, and you'll run our monthly Facebook and Instagram ads.

Job overview

  • Title: Digital Marketing Specialist (eCommerce)
  • Employer: Circuit Board Medics (family-owned, ~100 employees, one location)
  • Location: Greenville, SC 29615 (on-site)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Starting Pay Range: $23 – $27 / hour (full-time, hourly)
Minimum experience
  • 1+ year managing business social media accounts, or a portfolio that shows it
  • At least one Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaign launched, even a small one
  • Note: Employment requires passing a background check and drug screening.
What you'll own
Social & community
  • Reply to comments, DMs, and mentions daily in a consistent, helpful brand voice
  • Join relevant forums and groups to help people, not to push products
  • Plan a monthly content calendar, using visuals from our design team
Paid social
  • Build and launch monthly Meta ad campaigns for different products and product categories
  • Review results regularly and report what to keep, change, or stop
Content & email
  • Write 1–2 blog posts per month that support SEO and explain our products
  • Plan, write, and send email campaigns, and track opens, clicks, and conversions
  • Write and refresh product descriptions on BigCommerce, Amazon, and eBay (copy only; catalog data is managed by another team member)
Reporting
  • Deliver a short monthly summary of what is working across your channels
  • Track competitor content and ad approaches, and bring back ideas
Pitching in

We're a small team, so you'll also help with adjacent tasks outside your channels, such as uploading and publishing new products to our website and proofreading marketing copy. You'll also help with video: we'd love for you to shoot simple 30-second videos on your phone for our social channels, and occasionally lend a hand on larger shoots, like helping with lighting. No video production or editing expertise is needed, since we have a team member who handles our videography and video editing.

Strategy here is shared, and we expect you to be flexible and take on other projects as they come up. We're looking for someone who understands what digital marketing is and isn't, and who uses good judgment about where effort pays off. This isn't for someone who wants a single narrow lane. If “that's not my job” is your instinct, this team won't be a fit.

You're a fit if...
  • You have 1+ year managing business social accounts, or a portfolio that shows it
  • You've launched at least one Meta ad campaign, even a small one
  • You read results and can say what you'd change and why
  • You write clearly and proofread your own work
  • You can handle several kinds of tasks without dropping details
Helpful, but not required.

Klaviyo or similar email tools, Adobe Photoshop, BigCommerce, basic SEO, basic HTML/CSS, interest in automotive, electronics, or right to repair.

What the first 90 days look like.
  • By day 30: you're answering social daily and have shipped your first email and blog post.
  • By day 60: you've launched your first ad campaign.
  • By day 90: you're delivering monthly reporting and recommending changes.
Benefits. We take care of the people who take care of our customers.
  • Health insurance: eligible 1st of the month after hire
  • Voluntary benefits: dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance
  • Paid time off: 10 days per year
  • Paid holidays: 8 days per year
  • Stable hours: Monday - Friday, days
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Parental time off and adoption benefits
  • Casual dress code + branded clothing allowance
  • Free fruit, social outings, and a supportive, values-driven team

We read every application carefully. Here's what you can expect.

  1. Apply online through our website or Indeed and answer the custom questions (we use them to get to know you).
  2. Complete two short online assessments emailed to you with “Circuit Board Medics Application” in the subject line (about 30 minutes total on a computer).
  3. Our talent team reviews each completed application within 3 business days.
  4. If we're moving forward, you'll get a phone call within 1 week of finishing your assessments.

Note: We want to hear from you in your own words. We welcome the use of AI tools for polishing your resume; however, for these application questions, please answer them yourself. We're trying to understand how you think and approach problems, and that only comes through in your own responses.
