Delivery Driver in San Jose, California at Naprotek LLC

Job purpose:

Safe and prompt delivery of a variety of electronic equipment and assemblies to our customers. Represent Naprotek, Inc. in a professional manner increasing customer satisfaction. Assist other departments as necessary. Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Deliver a variety of sensitive electronic materials to different addresses and using different routes

· Follow time schedule to ensure product is delivered in a timely manner and per schedule

· Prepare, package, load, and unload a delivery vehicle, multiple times per day

· Complete mileage logs and reports as required

· Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

· Perform data entry to support Shipping transactions to customers

· Process shipments to common carriers as required

Qualifications:

· Proficient in the English language in both written and verbal communication.

· 2 years’ work experience as a Delivery Driver

· Valid California Class C driver’s license

· Good driving record with no traffic violations

· Ability to effectively operate hand-trucks

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· High school diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED)

· Able to lift 20 lbs. multiple times for packaging, load, and unload duties

· Computer skills (Excel, Word, Database, Data Entry)
