About the role
Are you passionate about agriculture and ready to help shape the future of farming? We’re on the lookout for a driven, customer-focused Agri professional to join our team in a permanent Agri Manager role at our Ashburton Office.
As an Agri Manager, you’ll be a trusted advisor to farmers, helping them get the best from their soil, pasture, crops, and animals while guiding them towards environmentally sustainable practices. You’ll play a vital role in reducing environmental impacts and unlocking value from the land through expert nutrient advice, innovative services, and top-quality products.
This is a role where every day counts – you’ll spend most of your time on farm, building strong relationships, identifying needs, and delivering tailored solutions that make a real difference. Your patch will cover a diverse mix of sheep, beef, and dairy customers across Mid-Canterbury.

- Build strong partnerships with farmers, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that drive success.
- Plan and implement customer visits, achieving sales targets while providing expert advice.
- Use cutting-edge technology to help shareholders boost profitability and lead in environmental stewardship.
- Create strategies to reduce environmental impact and optimise land value.
- Keep learning and growing – because your development matters too.
What you'll bring
- A can-do attitude and a genuine passion for the agriculture industry.
- 2 + years of hands-on experience engaging with customers, driving sales growth, and fostering authentic business relationships.
- Solid knowledge of farming systems and soil fertility.
- Excellent communication skills – you love a good yarn and can build trust easily.
- Awareness of New Zealand’s evolving environmental policies and their impact on farming.
- Tech-savvy with experience in agricultural technology systems.
- Ideally, a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related field.
