The role is highly client-facing and focused on growing a sustainable portfolio through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community engagement.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape your own business strategy while representing an established Canadian brand and its client-first values.
Comprehensive onboarding, mentorship, product expertise, marketing resources, and dedicated support will help you build your practice.
Compensation begins with a temporary onboarding income guarantee before transitioning to a commission-based model with uncapped earning potential.

- Build and manage an independent financial services advisory practice, taking ownership of business development, client relationships, and overall portfolio growth.
- Establish yourself as a trusted financial advisor within your community by understanding clients’ financial goals and providing personalized recommendations.
- Develop and grow a sustainable client portfolio through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, relationship building, and community involvement.
- Provide advice-based insurance and wealth solutions tailored to the individual needs and objectives of clients and their families.
- Maintain consistent engagement with clients to strengthen loyalty, confidence, retention, and long-term financial outcomes.
- Represent the organization professionally in the community while maintaining client-first standards, brand expectations, and applicable business requirements.
- Manage your sales pipeline, priorities, time, and business activity with discipline and accountability.
- Continuously strengthen your knowledge of insurance, wealth solutions, financial services, and relevant market developments.
- Operate independently while adhering to the terms of the independent contractor relationship and applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Complete required background, credit, and eligibility checks as part of the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Valid Insurance of Persons license in Quebec, or willingness and ability to obtain the required license and maintain ongoing licensing and continuing education requirements.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, advice-based sales, wealth management, account management, or business development is an asset.
- Experience running a business or working in an entrepreneurial, independent, or community-based sales environment is highly relevant.
- Demonstrated ability to establish trusted relationships and convert those relationships into sustainable business growth.
- Strong sales and business-development mindset, with confidence in prospecting, networking, generating opportunities, and developing referrals.
- Client-facing experience where credibility, consultation, and long-term relationship management are central to success.
- Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and relationship-management skills.
- Client-first and consultative approach, with a genuine interest in helping individuals and families achieve greater financial security.
- High level of self-motivation, resilience, accountability, and persistence when pursuing business goals.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take full ownership of business results.
- Professional working proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, as the role requires frequent communication about complex matters with internal and external stakeholders in both languages.
- Opportunity to build and grow your own financial services portfolio with significant ownership and autonomy.
- Temporary onboarding income guarantee to support the transition into the business.
- Commission-based compensation after onboarding, directly tied to business performance and results.
- Uncapped earning potential based on business development, client retention, and new business success.
- Flexible, remote-friendly work model with autonomy over your schedule.
- Comprehensive onboarding, training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
- Access to enterprise-level tools, marketing resources, product specialists, and dedicated support teams.
- Opportunity to build a long-term business within a trusted Canadian brand and community-focused environment.
- Meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact on clients’ financial security and wellbeing.
- Inclusive and accessible recruitment environment, with accommodations available throughout the hiring process upon request.
