Wage - $20.25 - $21.25 per hourJob duties: The Tim Hortons’ Team Supervisor position is operational in nature and involves the supervision of team member activities on shift to ensure that standards around people, product, cleanliness, and Exceptional Guest Experience are fulfilled. People ManagementSupervises, directs and coordinates restaurant team members throughout their shiftSchedules staff and assigns duties and provides ongoing, specific direction to team membersLeads by example and demonstrates the importance of treating every team member and guest with respectAssists the Restaurant Manager in recruitment and retention strategiesReacts immediately to issues requiring attention during the shiftProvides on-going and consistent training that positively impacts the overall operationsTrains staff in job duties, sanitation and safety proceduresTrains, orientates and monitors new team members, using PTS and feedback binderReports to Restaurant Owner, General Manager, Manager and/or Assistant Manager on team member performance (positive or negative)Ensures that work schedules are met and establish methods to meet work schedulesAssists in ensuring optimal team member coverage at all times and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels through demonstrated floor leadershipEncourages an exciting and fun work environment while motivating team members to meet goalsHospitality ManagementLeads by example to demonstrate that the guest is top priority and reinforces positive hospitality behaviours with team membersResponds to guest in a friendly manner while maintaining an appropriate sense of urgencyResponds to guest service complaints in a timely manner, resolving problems and turning potentially negative situations into positive situationsAssists in the running of company-wide incentive programsPromotes a respectful team environmentLeads team throughout shift with a positive attitudeActs as role model for exceptional guest serviceEffectively communicates with the management teamShares ideas, looks for opportunities to grow the business and empower your team to make it rightOperations ManagementDisplays knowledge of and works in compliance with applicable legislationComplies with and enforces all Tim Hortons operating standardsEnsures that all product and packaging is properly merchandised and stockedResponsible for shift cash proceduresMaintains operational efficiency through use of positioning chartsSupervises team members to ensure primary and secondary duties are completedEnsures all restaurant policies are followed during the shift (e.g. cash policies, meal and break policies, food safety policies)Keeps current on all new information on Portal or available through Townhall meetingsMaintains records of stock, sales and wastagePrepares food order summaries and orders ingredients and suppliesAssists the Restaurant Manager in driving sales and transactions during their shiftCompletes all required shift documentation (e.g. records waste, mgr. walk thru, pre-rush checklists etc.)Escalates to management any issues and or problems
Requirements:
Previous supervisory experience (minimum 1 year) in fast food services industry
Schedules staff and assigns duties and provides ongoing, specific direction to team members
Leads by example and demonstrates the importance of treating every team member and guest with respect
Provides on-going and consistent training that positively impacts the overall operations
Reacts immediately to issues requiring attention during the shift
Reports to Restaurant Owner, General Manager, Manager and/or Assistant Manager on team member performance (positive or negative)
Encourages an exciting and fun work environment while motivating team members to meet goals
Assists in ensuring optimal team member coverage at all times and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels through demonstrated floor leadership
