General Cleaner – 3rd Shift | Full-Time in Panama City, Florida at FCS Facility Services

Position: General Cleaner – Full-Time

Schedule: 3rd Shift

Location: ECP Airport

Pay Rate: $15.85 per hour

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Full-Time General Cleaner to join our 3rd Shift cleaning team.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned areas. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow established cleaning procedures, and a commitment to completing assigned tasks safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and can work independently while maintaining FCS Services' cleaning and safety standards.

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including floors, walls, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces to remove dirt, dust, debris, and other contaminants.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors according to established cleaning procedures.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, countertops, and other fixtures.
• Refill restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
• Clean doors, glass, windows, and other assigned surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, offices, break rooms, hallways, and other assigned spaces.
• Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to company procedures and product instructions.
• Assist with floor care duties, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and other floor maintenance tasks, as directed.
• Follow all company and client safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing assigned duties.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or other concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly and within established timeframes.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude while working with clients, employees, and team members.

• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and follow FCS Services cleaning procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and required PPE.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and any additional screening required by the client.
