Job Title: Associate – Financial Services Group

Talantage, LLC is seeking, on behalf of our client, an Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of meaningful experience in M&A, securities, and general business transactions to join the firm's dedicated and dynamic Financial Services group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with sophisticated clients across a variety of industries in a collaborative practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions from initial structuring through closing.
• Advise public companies on disclosure and compliance matters.
• Assist in securities offerings and related corporate governance matters.
• Provide counsel to clients on general business and regulatory issues, including those impacting the financial services sector.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and corporate documents.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues across practice areas to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Must be licensed to practice in Texas (required).
• 2–4 years of experience in M&A, securities, and general business transactions.
• Experience with banking and financial services clients is desirable but not required.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
