Clinical Psychologist – Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, WAReports To: TBD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0700–1630 (8.5–9 hour shifts, max 80 hours per two-week period)
Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to active-duty military personnel and other beneficiaries. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support mental health and wellness in a military clinical setting.
Qualifications:Education: PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program; completion of APA-accredited internship.
Licensure: Current, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory.
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Experience: Sufficient to meet clinical competency requirements for credentialing.
Conduct psychological evaluations, testing, and interviews.
Diagnose per DSM-5 and provide individual and group therapy.
Support patients coping with illness, injury, or rehabilitation.
Maintain accurate documentation in systems such as AHLTA and MHS Genesis.
Participate in peer review, training, and performance improvement activities.
Adhere to ethical, legal, safety, and infection control standards.
Engage in continuing education and annual mandatory trainings.
Support Family Advocacy and other command programs as needed.
Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0700 and 1630 hours. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5-to-9-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break, respectively.
