Full & Part-Time Pet Tech AssociateLocation: Ottawa, IL
Do you love working with dogs and want to be part of a team that makes a difference every day? The Gold Leash Pet Hotel & Daycare is hiring a Full & Part-Time Pet Tech Associate to join our team and help provide the highest level of care for our boarding and daycare guests.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in group play sessions, ensuring safe and positive interactions.
- Provide individualized attention and enrichment when needed.
- Maintain clean and sanitary kennels, play areas, and common spaces throughout the day.
- Complete “Furever Reports” with notes, photos, and videos to showcase each pet’s stay.
- Communicate effectively with managers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist new team members by modeling protocols and teamwork.
- Learn and apply safe handling techniques, with a focus on understanding canine body language.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous animal care experience (kennel, daycare, or vet clinic preferred).
- Reliable and able to work a variety of shifts between 5 AM – 8 PM (weekends/holidays included).
- Team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
- Dependable transportation.
