JOB OVERVIEW:

The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests at Hilton Hotels, delivering exceptional service while managing check-in/check-out processes and addressing guest needs throughout their stay.

You must be personable and have outstanding interpersonal communication skills. Always ready to provide exerts exceptional customer service to our guest and our Team Members. Previous hospitality experience preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet all guests in a professional, friendly manner
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Manage guest inquiries and requests promptly
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
  • Handle guest complaints and escalate to management when necessary
  • Resolve guests’ complaints using HEART Model in combination with Empowerment Guidelines.
  • Knowledge of and regularly check SEP scores and adjust performance accordingly based on scores.
  • Daily check group resume board and always stay knowledgeable of group needs and details.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and protect sensitive information
  • Wears a smile constantly and displays welcoming and inviting body language to all guests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Respond calmly and professionally in stressful situations

Operations

  • Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
  • Process cash high balance report and run batch report accordingly
  • Knowledge of Digital key check in/out protocols is imperative.
  • Manage room inventory and assignments
  • Answer multi-line phone system and route calls appropriately
  • Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room status
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
  • Generate and review daily reports

Administrative

  • Maintain accurate guest records in the property management system
  • Manage safe deposit box procedures
  • Reconcile accounts and handle cash drops
  • Complete shift handover procedures
  • Document incidents and special requests

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in property management systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Multi-tasking capabilities
  • Computer literacy

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity for computer use

  • Schedule includes weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

  • Fast-paced atmosphere
  • Required to wear proper uniform and maintain professional appearance
