Service Advisor Assistant

If you’re an outstanding individual looking to make great money while working for an amazing company in Central Texas area, then keep reading!! USA Auto Partners looking for a motivated, energetic individual to join our Cameron Service Team! As a Service Advisor Assistant, you are a valued member of our team, and will perform the following:

  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Greet and develop an ongoing relationship with customers
  • Contact customers to keep the customer up to date throughout the repair process and communicate when the vehicle is ready for pickup
  • Help customers care for and maintain their vehicles
  • Set up service appointments that align with the customer and technicians’ schedules
  • Serve as liaison between the service manager, shop foreman, parts personnel, technicians and warranty administration
  • Inspect vehicles and apply proper resources to accurately identify and verify vehicle mileage and service needs
  • Provide customers with information on part warranties and potential savings
  • Work with technicians to determine necessary repairs and possible alternatives to cut costs for the customer
  • Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with warranty specifications
  • Write and verify accurate repair orders and include supporting documentation
  • Meet requirements of state and federal law for auto repair and consumer protection
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Other reasonable requests by management

What would make you a great candidate:

  • Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Past experience with Dealertrack and X-time
  • Possesses working knowledge of the makeups, frequent problems, and necessary maintenance for variety of vehicles.
  • Exhibits strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates solid organizational abilities.
  • Possesses knowledge of proper safety precautions in the service area.
  • Knows how to drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmission.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
  • Is able to read and interpret work orders and billing statements.
  • Demonstrates ability to translate automotive jargon into layman’s terms for customer benefit.
  • Pays close attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 per year
