Nurse Resident at Upson Regional Medical Center – Thomaston, Georgia

Provides personal care for all body systems to include skin care, bathing, oral hygiene, perineal care, and hair care; pre and post-op care; postmortem care; correct positioning and transfer; assistance with ambulation and exercise; accurate measurement of vital signs, weights and intake/output; usage of restraints; placement of electrodes for cardiac monitoring; use of isolation precautions; administration of enemas; glucose monitoring and quality control checks; insertion of straight and foley catheters; initiation of peripheral IV catheters and any additional competency requirements outlined on competency checklists, Performs high quality care based on hospital and department quality measures (reduction in patient falls, patient experience outcomes, health-care associated infections & conditions, evidenced-based practice protocols)

Required:

Enrolled in final semester or graduate of Associate or Bachelor's of Nursing Program, BLS
