About This Position
Job Summary: The Project Coordinator provides a high level of coordination and organizational project support to the Project Managers and Construction Manager, which includes but is not limited to: assisting with project and event planning and implementation; project and event planning duties may require on-call / after hours work to manage projects; managing and coordinating content for meetings, conferences, trainings, and other project-related events as needed; assisting with the design, development and distribution of project related documents and reports; maintaining project budgets; assisting in approval document process; assisting with project data collection activities; managing capital budgets to ensure accurate and essential use of capital dollars; and the processing and management of all project related paperwork (contracts, invoices, closeouts, etc,) throughout the project life cycle with great attention to detail and accuracy; assist with onsite move management and coordination during all transition activities; assist with new furniture implementation and furniture inventories, planning for re-use and disposal processes as required; assist with new furniture implementation and furniture inventories, planning for re-use and disposal processes as required; Coordinate signage including interior, exterior, and wayfinding signage. Performs other projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Associate Degree with two years of experience or a High School Diploma with at least four years’ experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Assistant, CAD Analyst, or Clerk of the Works for a general contractor, developer or healthcare organization. Understanding of construction methods and scheduling. Possess a well-structured discipline. Ability to work with and interact with various hospital personnel, vendors, and contractors. Must be familiar with MS Office Suite and MS Project.
