Staff Accountant – Confidential Manufacturing Company
On-Site | DFW Area (76112) | Full-Time | $60K–$70K

A confidential manufacturing company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking a Staff Accountant to support its growing finance team. This full-time, salaried role reports to the Controller and is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This position is 100% on-site — no remote or hybrid options.

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions

• Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly

• Monitor and analyze cost accounting data to ensure proper expense and production allocations

• Assist with month-end and year-end close

• Process weekly accounts payable and manage payment schedules

• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and schedules

• Provide backup support to other accounting team members as needed

• Regular Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM (45-minute lunch)

• Summer Hours (May 22 – Labor Day):

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:45 PM (45-minute lunch)

  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)

• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Familiarity with ERP systems preferred

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work cross-functionally

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
