Heavy Equipment Operator at Precision Construction LLC – Carencro, Louisiana

We are currently hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support civil construction projects involving earthwork, grading, trenching, and utility installation. Operators will be responsible for safely and efficiently running a variety of equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and motor graders.

This role is critical to maintaining production goals, supporting field crews, and executing work in accordance with project plans, grades, and safety standards. Operators must be skilled in both rough grading and fine grading, as well as trench excavation and backfilling around utilities.

Key qualifications include:

• 3+years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction environments
• Ability to read and follow grade stakes, GPS systems, and site plans
• Knowledge of safe operation practices, equipment maintenance, and jobsite awareness
• Experience working around underground utilities and in confined work areas
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow direction from foremen and superintendents
