About the Role: PRN coverage needed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Fridays or other days. Clinic hours are 7:30am to 4pm, or 8a-4p. Flexible for half day coverage.

• Performs a variety of clinical responsibilities for adult patients to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Includes rooming patients, taking vitals, pill counts, and ability to cross over injections for botox or procedures for pain management. Works proactively and in partnership with other staff, contributing to effective operations and positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides assistance and preparation prior to and during examination by healthcare providers.
• Prepares examination/treatment rooms for patients.
• Interviews patients for nature of visit and takes vital signs.
• Prepares and assists health care provider during examination and procedures

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma/GED preferred, Completion of Medical Assistant curriculum or equivalent
• Certification: American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR
• Experience: Prior medical assistant experience REQUIRED. New grads cannot be considered for this role.
