The Role:

Grande Colonial is hiring a full-time, overnight Security Agent. The ideal candidate is a dependable, hardworking team player who takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing the highest level of hospitality and guest service.

This position plays an important role in protecting our guests, employees, and property while creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who visits our hotel. Responsibilities include conducting property patrols, monitoring security and safety concerns, responding to guest requests, and assisting with various overnight hotel operations.

Previous security or hospitality experience is preferred, but we are equally interested in candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, sound judgment, and a genuine desire to serve others.

We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, takes initiative, works well with others, and is eager to learn and contribute to the team. A commitment to our core values and a passion for hospitality are essential.

Must be over 21 years of age to operate company and guest vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educa­tion and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English to customers, members, employees, guests, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work in an efficient and professional manner with guests under limited supervision.

CERTIFICATE

All employees in this position must have a current state guard card.
