About This Position
Healthcare Technician
The Health Care Technician (HCT) under the direction of a Registered Nurse functions as a support to the Licensed Nursing staff in performing activities related to personal care and hygiene needs of an assigned age specific popultation patient group. Education requirements are high school degree or equivalent; and successfully completed CNA (certified nurses aid) training or miliitary corp training or completion of first nursing clinical rotation in an approved nursing program.
