Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resource Coordinator to support daily HR operations. This role assists with recruiting, benefits administration, employee records, and payroll-related tasks while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log applications and resumes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Schedule interviews and coordinate new hire orientations for the HR department.
- Assist with employee benefit enrollments.
- Support the planning and coordination of company events.
- Enter and track attendance points in the HCM system.
- Record exit interview data in the SharePoint database.
- Prepare employee attendance disciplinary forms for HR Supervisors.
- Add new hires and archive terminated employees in the Alchemy Training System.
- Maintain SharePoint records for new hires and terminations.
- Receive, sort, and distribute office mail.
- Complete termination paperwork and submit it to the payroll department.
- Sort and distribute employee paychecks.
- Scan and email pay stubs to KDOC.
- Provide backup support for the HR Supervisor and Safety Clerk.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Regularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate (talk/hear).
- Frequently required to walk, reach, and occasionally climb or balance .
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work is performed in a typical office environment.
- Moderate noise level.
