Responsibilities

The role of the Certified Dental Assistant is to assist the dentist in providing exceptional dental treatment and customer service to patients, while also assisting with the following:

Answering patient questions SterilizationPreparing the clinical roomTemporary restorationsPacking gingival retraction cordRadiographsDental lab workPost-operative instructionsDiscussing treatment recommendationsPatient records

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Dental Assistant Certification required.Minimum of 2 years working in a dental practice as a chairside assistant preferred.Excellent communication skills. Positive attitude.Ability to build rapport with patients.Purpose drivenStrong listening skillsAbility to multitaskAttention to detailOrganizedTeam playerExperience with Dentrix dental software and Microsoft Office preferred.
